in the machines and it was spinning and all of a sudden it just went out and everyone was looking around wondering what happened. the power is back on at paris las vegas... but the hotel has a lot of work to do... to make this right with its guests. i'm john huck. i'm cyndi lundeberg. those guests tell fox5 there is still a lot of confusion. fox5's adam herbets breaks down why this happened... and how dangerous it was to workers involved. but first, abby theodros shows us how gamblers were left in limbo when their games shut down! we saw a lot of confused guests who were scrambling to find a place to stay over night but gamers who were inside the booth were when it came to places to stay over night but a lot of people tell me things were more organized on the gaming side of things

empty paris casino following yesterday's outage. gamers who were inside there tell me they were asked to stay by their machines until a staffer came by, took down their information and gave them a receipt with their winnings. "the machine was exactly as we left it. so when they fl on, the 24$ that i had in the machine at the time and the 100$ that my friend had in her machine at the time it was there. so then we just hit play our chose to receive our voucher "

opted to avoid that chaos on tuesday by voting during the last two weeks today -- there were more than 9,000 voters by 11 this morning, and workers say the last day is typically the busiest day -- resulting in lines like this at the galleria mall. but voters say the wait is worth it, to get a weight off their shoulders.
